As part of our HLF project, our Community Engagement Officer is working with a range of community groups – you can see some of our work on our Facebook page.
We are working with local schools, our youth panel at The Garage and running events in the local community. We offer family activities during school holidays, give talks to groups and carry out a variety of outreach work. If you would like to talk to our Community Engagement Officer about working with your group, please contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org
Although The Eling Experience is closed while we deliver our refurbishment Project, we still have lots going on. And thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, our activities are free! We just ask for a little feedback so we can tell our funders how we’re doing. As these are family activities, we ask that you stay and enjoy them with your children.

Family fun - Spring into Spring!
Wednesday 6 April 2016
This Easter we worked with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust again. Testwood Lakes Visitor Centre has some wonderful real wildlife specimens to explore close-up, plus we had a range of activities for families to try - including the chance to be a busy bee and see how quickly you could collect pollen, try matching noises to the animals that make them, investigate some of the adaptations animals have for their lifestyle, some make & take crafts, and more! You could also spend some time outside exploring Testwood Lakes with a trail.
